Big Oak Blinds is a locally owned and operated window treatment company serving Central and Northern Ohio. As lifelong Bucyrus residents, Julie and Michael believe choosing new window treatments should be personal, convenient, and stress-free.

Julie Feichtner — Design Consultant

Julie was born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio, and still proudly calls it home. After earning her degree in Dental Hygiene from Owens Technical College, she spent 27 years in the dental field.

Ready for a new direction, Julie turned her attention to something she had always enjoyed — helping people make their homes more beautiful. She started an interior painting business and later began working as a sales representative for a local decorating store, where she discovered her passion for window treatments and helping homeowners find the perfect combination of style, function, and comfort.

Today, Julie works directly with customers in their homes, bringing samples and helping select the right blinds, shades, and shutters for each room.

Michael Feichtner — Installer

Michael was also born and raised in Bucyrus and attended Bowling Green State University. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, he brings the knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail needed to make sure every window treatment is measured and installed correctly.

From precise measurements to professional installation, Michael makes sure the finished product looks great and operates exactly as it should.
